Youth CI

Our church's Covenant Instruction has prepared a whole new exciting programme for the months of August- December!

August: Contemporary Issues (Gift of speaking tongues, contemporary worship, dressing, COF)
September: Service, Work and Wealth (Biblical view of service, work and wealth)
October: Introduction to Worldviews (Secularism, Pragmatism, Relativism)
November: Historical Studies (History of christian church, Creeds and Confession, 3 Form of Unity)

December: Biblical Manhood and Womanhood (Feminism, Biblical vision of Complementarity, Preparation for true love)

I am sure the above topics are very relevant our lives as christian youths and young adults. These are real struggles and questions we often ask and would want to know more about. We thank God for the privilege of having elders/parents in the youth CI to teach us the word of the Lord. We acknowledge their effort and service to the Lord. As for us KSS youths, we must part our part by being supportive and ever curious in wanting to know more about God's words and His laws, and seek to lead a godly and true Christian life in today's difficult times.

1Thes 5:12,13

And we beseech you, brethren, to know them which labor among you, and are over you in the Lord, and admonish you;
And to esteem them very highly in love for their work's sake. And be at peace among yourselves.

No explanation here, but I urge us all to meditate upon the text above as the installation of office bearers is near.

On a side note, the April-July issue of Dat KS MEGAzine will be out within the next few weeks!

We need your photographs!

Dear KSSers, you might already be tired of this announcement, but here it is once again!

Please send us your favourite photographs of/with your parents by this Sunday, 31 May 2009. The reason why we need it so soon is because we are having a slideshow to celebrate Parents' Day on 7 June (Lord' Supper Sunday). This is an urgent matter!

Please send all photographs to Joel Ee at ckksjoelee@hotmail.com .
If your photograph is a hard copy, you may wish to scan it over to him or pass it to him in person (and you will get your photograph back).

Please include your name, your parents' names, and the reason why it's your favourite photograph.

Most importantly, please invite your parents to stay back after service on 7 June!

Many thanks.

Poly students who are starting a new term again. May God help them to manage their time as work comes in again.

Those who are taking confession/baptism. (7 from KSS!) Thank God for working in each of their hearts, and for using them as testimonies and unto His glory. Let us, as witnesses, also remember our own relationship with Jesus Christ our Lord. Praise be to God!
